After a tumultuous journey through the clouds, the Asgarthiens reach their destination. Asty is a brilliant floating city, cradle of the Reka people, as well as the Naos, a vast world-tree whose canopy towers over the city’s tallest buildings. As the two peoples become acquainted, a new alliance is born.

Seeds of Unity tells the meeting between the Asgarthiens and the Reka: a vibrant celebration, full of color and optimism, where exchange, discovering the other and their city, and laying solid foundations are at the heart of everything. But, like any civilization, the Reka have their complexities.

Three new heroes to lead these diplomatic efforts

For Seeds of Unity, three new heroes from the Axiom, Muna, and Ordis factions are sent as emissaries to lead the discussions. Beside them, three heroes from Skybound Odyssey will return.

Three mechanics focused on exchange and resources

Under the Naos' vaulted ceiling, the Asgarthiens and the Reka celebrate their meeting, the pooling of their resources, and the forthcoming cultural exchanges between their two civilizations. The Seeds of Unity mechanic reflects this moment of sharing and enthusiasm.

Mana Seed

A Mana Seed is a Permanent token. It’s a resource that can provide you with extra mana at any time. Creating a Mana Seed is like storing mana, which you can then use later by sacrificing it!

Thanks to its types of Permanent and Landmark cards, the Mana Seed token will also synergize with Permanent-focused strategies: it’s the ideal Permanent to sacrifice or exhaust to activate powerful effects!

Gift

The meeting between the Asgarthiens and the Reka is the perfect opportunity to trade! A Gift is a resource offered to another player during your turn: if one of your actions lets your opponent or any other player draw a card, replenish their reserves, or create a token, it is considered a Gift. Some of your cards will require you to offer resources to your opponents, which will allow you to gain high stats or powerful effects in return at a reduced cost. Show off your negotiating skills!

In Contact

The theme of the meeting between the Reka and Asgartha is at the heart of Seeds of Unity. “In Contact” illustrates these moments of interaction: one of your expeditions is In Contact when another expedition is present in the same region. Some cards will require being In Contact to obtain powerful bonuses, while others will let you manipulate the progress of the regions to more easily be In Contact with your opponent!
