Aeronautica Imperialis: Legio Custodes Ares Gunship

Discover the Power of the Legio Custodes Ares Gunship

The Legio Custodes, renowned as the Emperor's elite bodyguards, are entrusted with safeguarding the Imperial Palace on Terra. To fulfill this sacred duty, they utilize advanced and rare technologies, such as the formidable Ares Gunship. Originating from the Unification Wars, this war machine is a symbol of terror, equipped with the Eclipse shield for protection. It dominates the skies, obliterating enemy strongholds and monuments with unparalleled precision. The Ares Gunship's mere presence often quashes resistance, while its devastating firepower dismantles any adversaries that dare to persist.

Enhance Your Wargame Strategy with the Ares Gunship

In the tumultuous skies of the Horus Heresy, the Ares Gunship stands as a powerhouse among aircraft. Although classified as a fighter, its robust structure and formidable mid-range arsenal distinguish it from its peers, with the capability to function as a heavy bomber through optional firebomb clusters. Integrating one or more of these exceptional aircraft into your Legiones Astartes or Divisio Aeronautica forces will challenge your opponents, forcing them to reconsider their tactics and evade its deadly firing lines.

This detailed 18-part resin kit allows you to construct one Legio Custodes Ares Gunship, armed with a heavy blaze cannon and magna-blaze cannon. The set includes 1x Aeronautica Base and an Ares Gunship Aircraft Card. Note that the miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly; we recommend using Citadel paints for the best results. The rules for deploying the Ares Gunship are detailed on the included Aircraft Card, making it an essential addition to your collection of Warhammer 40,000 figurines.
