Emblèmes

Emblèmes - strategic board game of bluffing and clever placements

The sovereign has died without an heir and the kingdom is teetering. Rival great families now covet three decisive places of influence — the Castle, the Village and the Port — to get closer to the throne. Will you lead your banner to victory by combining thought, opportunism and sneaky maneuvers? Emblèmes is a card-based board game where deception, reading your opponent and timing are key, ideal for fans of strategic board games and for those who enjoy tense but accessible experiences.

How to play Emblèmes: simple rules, tactical depth

In each round, all players secretly select a card, assess its value and effect, then place it face down in front of them. In turn, each player reveals their card and deploys it to one of the three places of influence: the Castle, the Village or the Port. At the end of the round, gold coins are awarded to the families that placed the highest-value cards in each location.

Emblèmes shines in its balance between streamlined rules and strategic tension: bluffing, counterplay, opportunistic placements and risk-taking follow one another, producing surprising reversals. Easy to pick up without being simplistic, this board game rewards the cleverest players… or the boldest!
