Thousands of years before the people of Carcassonne built mighty walls and castles, prehistoric tribes roamed the land in search of resources to guarantee their survival. Carcassonne: Hunters & Gatherers combines the classic tile-laying gameplay of the original game with new thematic features and scoring rules. Instead of building a medieval landscape with cities, roads, fields, and monasteries, players place tiles filled with natural features like forests, rivers, lakes, and grasslands, claiming and completing them to score points.
