Diplomacy

"War not only exhausts the present, it exhausts the future."

Karl Liebknecht

1901, the Belle Époque is in full swing. European civilization is at its firmament. Amazing technical progress, unprecedented economic development, the development of the arts and literature and science!

And yet! Jealousies, conspiracies, intrigues are only the beginnings of a conflagration that will upset peoples and civilizations. The march to war has begun, and nothing can stop it!

Diplomacy is a strategy game that will put you in the frock coat of the leader of one of the seven great European powers of the turn of the century: England, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria-Hungary and Turkey.

It is up to you to forge alliances, to forge subtle conspiracies and infamous betrayals to enlarge the territory of your nation and its sphere of influence. Whether it's to intimidate or crush your enemies, maneuver your armies and fleets, find allies, secure your back and become the master of Europe. But never forget that yesterday's smiles and chords may mask tomorrow's stabbings!

So here's the return of one of the great classics of the strategy game.
