Museum Pictura

Museum Pictura is a collection game for 2 to 4 players in which you play as a museum curator in charge of creating collections of famous artworks!

Set in the luxurious extravagance of the Roaring Twenties, this game will immerse you in the unpredictable world of art to create truly spectacular exhibitions.

Acquire paintings, trade them with other museums and display your best finds in your galleries. Build impressive collections and open them to the public to earn Prestige points.

The larger the collection, the more points you will earn! The player with the most Prestige Points at the end of the game wins.

Your goal is to build collections of some of the most iconic works of art in history. To do this, you will acquire Paintings cards and display them in your Museum, represented by your game board, to create Collections. These collections can be based on the period of the painting (from the Renaissance to Impressionism) or on its field (historical, landscape, mythological...). The Collections you create earn you Prestige points, and the player who has the most Prestige at the end of the game wins.

During the game, you will have to deal with the changing trends in the art world, acquiring and exhibiting paintings according to what is currently in demand. Exhibiting paintings of the type that are currently in vogue will earn you extra points!

As your collections grow, you'll be able to open them briefly to the public with a temporary exhibition, immediately scoring the value of that collection and earning special bonuses for the rest of the game. But beware, your visitors will quickly tire of seeing the same types of collections, so timing your exhibitions is essential!

Museum: Pictura brings exciting new mechanics and strategies, while maintaining a strong family connection to its predecessor.
