Betrayal Legacy images
Description
Betrayal Legacy combines the concept of Betrayal at House on the Hill - the exploration of a haunted mansion - with the campaign principle initiated by Rob Daviau's Risk Legacy.
Betrayal Legacy consists of a prologue and a thirteen-chapter story set over several decades. Players represent families, with specific members of a family participating in a story, and then perhaps an older version of these characters (assuming they lived) or their descendants who will appear in more recent stories (from 1666 to 2004).
Why would people continue to explore a haunted mansion for decades, especially when horrible things happen there? Curiosity, or perhaps a blind audacity that comes from the belief that we know better than those who came before us. Look at everything we've learned, marvel at the means we have at our fingertips! We'll all be out safe this time....
