Lost Cities - Les Rivaux

Lost Cities: The Rivals

After covering yourself with prestige with the first Lost Cities, will you have the courage to go back on an expedition?

Lost Cities - Les Rivaux pushes the limits of adventure and goes further than ever. The game of course takes up the basic mechanics of his illustrious elder: leading expeditions by playing cards of increasing order. But Lost Cities - Les Rivaux now adds a new dimension to the adventure: the auctions!

A new game full of tension

Each adventurer has a choice: draw a card and add it face up to the available cards or start a betting round. Each player starts with a capital of gold coins that he can use to bid whenever he wants. The player who wins the bid wins the right to access all the cards revealed... and to take as many as he wants! The cards are then played to advance the expeditions, and obtain the prestige necessary for victory!

How much gold will you dare spend to complete your expeditions... or to block those of your opponents?

Adventure, betting and deceit

The subtlety of auctions consists as much in financing one's own expeditions as in curbing those of the opponents. Indeed, it is enough to discard cards that are sorely lacking to sow panic in the game. But won't you miss that spent gold later on? It's up to you to know how to manage your budget to go as far as possible, and to complete the expeditions you have bet on!

The game gets more and more tense as the game turns, for a final that will always be rich in twists and turns.
