Pathfinder Universe - Guide to the Plague of the World

A century ago, the Nation of Sarkari was murdered. Now fallen, it is nothing more than a horrible post-apocalyptic nightmare torn apart by a huge canyon linking Golarion to the territories of the Abyss, haunted by demons. This fault, which has been dubbed the Plague of the World, vomits demonic hordes determined to desecrate the world of mortals and to do their own.

Even if the barbarians and crusaders manage for the moment to contain these demons behind the borders, what was once the Sarkaris has become a bridgehead for the faithful. Worse still, the Plague of the World itself is gradually expanding and if nothing is done to stop this scourge, the demons it engenders may well end up engulfing the whole of Golarion!

In this volume, you will find:
-Cities in ruins, such as the broken capital of Iz, the frozen city of Lightness and the river city of Undarin.
-A comprehensive study of the curious dangers of this demon-ruled region.
-Essential historical sites such as the Circle of Hierophanetes, the Unicorn Shroud and the Threshold, the fortress where the first abyssal portal opened.
-Places of adventure ready to be explored as well as places such as the bastion city of Gundrun, the only safe haven of this fatal territory.
-More than a dozen new monsters, including several new demons and two new monster archetypes.
-Be sure that the PJs will not run out of enemies in this devastated kingdom!

The World Plague Guide is part of the game system and the pathfinder universe but can easily be integrated into any fantasy world. The Plague of the World also serves as the setting for the Pathfinder Campaign Against Demons entitled The Wrath of the Righteous, making this volume a supplement that will blend perfectly with it.
