Genpei stands out for its innovative mechanics, in which players chain together strategic actions to influence more clans than their opponents. Accessible yet complex to master, this board game is perfect for fans of intellectual challenges.
Each turn, play a card from your hand. When you play a clan card, you activate the clan marker on the corresponding wheel: move it to an adjacent square and perform the indicated action. Chain actions to maximize your influence: each card you play activates a clan marker. Place your influence tokens to gain the support of the Houses.
The player who succeeds in rallying the greatest number of Houses, including the Emperor's, is crowned the new Emperor, thus winning the game. This board game is ideal for strategic evenings out with friends or family.
