The Lord of the Rings JCE - Basic Box

"However, it is not up to us to gather all the tides of the world, but to do what is within us for the relief of the years in which we are placed, uprooting evil in the fields we know, so that those who will live after us can have a land suitable for cultivation. It's not up to us to sort out how long they'll have."

— Gandalf, The Return of the King

In The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, players lead a group of adventurers trying to complete perilous quests in Middle-earth. From the fields of the Shire to the dangerous paths of the Black Forest through the kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, the famous heroes of this universe come together to resist the threat of the Dark Lord, Sauron.

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a cooperative game for 1 or 2 players acting together, against the scenarios controlled by the game. With a second base box, up to 4 players can play in cooperation. As an Evolutionary Card Game, additional cards and quests will be available in regular extensions, allowing players to customize the content of that box, or create their own decks.
