Catan - Villes & Chevaliers

Extension for CATAN - cooperative strategy board game

The cities of CATAN are booming with new goods and flourishing trade. Erect prestigious buildings like town halls, libraries and fortresses to foster progress and prosperity. But this wealth also attracts greed: hordes of barbarians from across the seas threaten the island. Recruit a powerful army of knights and coordinate your actions to repel these invaders. Only the most daring will succeed in saving their cities from destruction.

A CATAN extension ideal for board game enthusiasts

This expansion adds an extra dimension to the basic CATAN game, combining competition and mutual aid. As well as competing to develop your cities, you'll need to join forces against a common enemy. Cooperation becomes a key mechanic at the heart of this strategy board game, offering intense and renewed play, both between enthusiasts and as a family game. The CATAN base game is required to use this expansion.

Designed to enrich your board game collection, this expansion is as much for players looking for deep strategy games as for those curious to discover the best board games. It ranks among the most popular board games thanks to its balance of planning, interaction and shared tension with the barbarians.

This "refresh" version benefits from a clarification of the rules, a modernized design and a more dynamic layout, for a smoother, more readable game experience. You'll find this extension in our board game store, the perfect place to find your next favorite adult or family board game. A must-have choice for board game enthusiasts who want to vary their strategies and experience memorable collective challenges.
