Description
In the era of discovery, Portugal's largest cities prospered: in addition to Porto and Lisbon, the city of Coimbra with its famous university was notably the case.
As the head of one of Coimbra's oldest families, you feel that the growing wealth of the city also reinforces the feeling of insecurity among its citizens. So you use your own legion of security guards to provide protection services to the city's most influential scholars, council members, merchants and clerics. After all, you want to attract the favor of some of them and not all of them can be convinced with money.
In Coimbra, there are many ways to win. But whether you focus on increasing your financial income, recruiting new guards, promoting academic progress, deepening your relations with the surrounding monasteries or travelling around that time, in the end you will only be victorious if you perceive and use the ever-changing synergies that each new party offers.
