7 Wonders - Babel

7 Wonders: Babel has two modules to use with the basic game 7 Wonders, and they can be used individually or together in any combination with other extensions.

In the first 7 Wonders: Babel module, players pick tiles in the quarter-circle at the beginning of the game before starting to play; Each tile represents a law that affects all players if it is put into play, for example: all unique resource cards provide an infinite number of resources in each round, or the winners in military conflicts receive fewer points than usual.

During the game, players now have an additional option when they discard a card. Instead of winning three coins, they place one of these law tiles in the next free space on a circular display; The law on this tile remains in effect until the end of the game or until it is covered. (If a fifth tile is placed, for example, it is placed on the first tile played). At the end of the game, players receive points based on the number of tiles they have played.

In the second module of 7 Wonders: Babel, one of the five age-specific large project maps is randomly revealed at the beginning of each age, and a certain number of tokens are placed there, depending on the number of players. This card imposes a fee on players who want to play cards of a certain color. When a player pays this fee, he takes one of the chips from this big project card. At the end of the age, if all chips have been removed, then players receive a bonus (which is shown on the card) for each token they have; If the chips remain on the card, then each player without a chip is penalized.

Just as the cost of cards increases at each age, so does the number of resources needed to pay the tax.
