Dixit

Dixit, a communication game

The tenit principle is simple: players must guess and have illustrated cards guessed. In each round, a player becomes the storyteller who chooses a card and describes it with a phase, word or sound. But beware, to score points, the card must be found only by a part of the players. The message must therefore be both clear and encrypted. There must be some mystery. It's up to you to be inventive and smart! In addition to having to find the right drawing, other players must also choose a card in their hand close to the storyteller's description. The goal here is to mislead others. Once all the cards have been recovered, they are revealed by the storyteller. Players have the task of uncovering the storyteller's image.

The points count

Points are then awarded according to several scenarios:

If everyone finds the storyteller's card, it doesn't score a point. The other players receive 2 points.
If no one finds the storyteller's card, the storyteller does not score a point. The other players collect 2 points.
If a game of players finds the storyteller's card, the storyteller gets 3 points and the players who have found the card too.
If a player designates the wrong card, the player who placed that card and thus misled, will have 1 point.

The first player to reach 30 points or with the most points when the deck is empty, wins the Dixit game.

Dixit, a poetic and enchanting game

Dixit is a guessing game based on a poetic universe. To help you create your "tales", Dixit offers original illustrations flirting between fantasy and dreaming. A scent of mystery floats around each card designed by Marie Cardouat and this is what makes Dixit's interest. It's up to you to draw inspiration!
