Description

In Mare Nostrum, you take the lead of one of the civilizations that rocked Mediterranean antiquity. You start with 3 provinces and some buildings (cities, caravans, markets and temples) as well as the help of the hero of your civilization. From this base, you will have to elevate your nation to the rank of Empire.

Mare Nostrum is a strategy game. It pushes you to make the best plans to achieve your goals. And these are multiple. Win the game either by bringing together under your banners 5 heroes and/or wonders, or by building the pyramids, by controlling 4 legendary capitals or cities or by extending your influence in the 3 great areas of Mare Nostrum: trade, politics and the military. But Mare Nostrum is also a balancing act where each player's actions will affect each civilization. So be careful to avoid any danger and seize any opportunity!
