The Legend of the Five Rings - Children of the Empire

Rokugan trembles on its foundations. The basic balance is broken and chaos sets in. The peace that reigned between the Major Clans gave way to war. The world is in the process of being lost if nothing is done to save it. However, Hantei XXXVIII has just signed a decree of vital importance that will once again change the course of history. It will now be up to the children of the Emerald Empire to find for themselves the path that will lead them to peace.

A Premium Extension is a new product in the Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game. It includes 234 cards (76 cards in three copies and 6 cards in one copy), which is a number comparable to the content of the Basic Game, The Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game. Unlike previous expansions, Premium Extensions are not tied to a particular clan and are not part of a cycle: their goal is to develop specific themes and mechanics so that each Clan can enrich itself with many cards with a single box!

The Children of the Empire pays tribute to the serenity that the Hantei Dynasty brought to Rokugan. Each Major Clan gains new tools and develops themes related to duel and honor, both very present in this extension. The Children of the Empire highlights significant characters and events in the history of The Legend of the Five Rings as we know them today. Some maps will represent some of the most intense episodes of the fictions of The Legend of the Five Rings. Finally, an emblematic character of the saga has just found a new place within the Celestial Order: you can discover its updated version.

With 234 new cards dedicated to all clans and all the themes of the box, Children of the Empire is the perfect complement for all new players who already own the Legend of the Five Rings Base Game: The Card Game. For seasoned players, regardless of their favorite clans, this expansion will bring new blood to the meta thanks to a massive influx of new cards!
