Destins : Le Pirate des Sept Mers

The Pirate of the Seven Seas, a book-game in the Destins series

Adrift in a longboat, you and three other sailors are desperately trying to escape from the evil Captain Skarvench. If you succeed before you die of thirst or are swallowed up by the storm, you know that the hardest part is yet to come. Only you know Skarvench's new plan, by far his most vicious.

You embark on the adventure, determined to gather a crew, procure a ship and embark on a journey of vengeance and justice... whatever the perils: undead pirates, sea monsters, cursed ships, witches and ancient gods. Not to mention the greatest threat of all, the vision you had of your own death at the hands of your sworn enemy.

Dave Morris masterfully immerses you in a world of piracy, adventure and navigation, thanks to a high-level play structure and vigorous writing, spiced up by the presence of your three companions in misfortune and their truculent exchanges.

This game-book series leaves nothing to chance. No dice. Minimal rules. Choose your skills and set off on your adventure. Your fate depends solely on your insight, your courage and... your imagination!
