Codex: Deathwatch

Elite elite, carefully selected and recruited for its exceptional abilities, the Deathwatch forms a tenuous black bulwark between the Imperium and unimaginable alien threats. Invariably outnumbered— as it faces hordes of staggering dimensions - this noble brotherhood has repelled countless invasions, and will fend off many more. Organized into small Space Marines companies detached from their Chapter as part of the common fight against aliens, the Deathwatch consists exclusively of heroes. Each of its members was a recognized expert in their field even before he trained as a Deathwatch agent. In their pure black armor, with a shoulder pad in the colors of their original chapter as a sign of respect, Deathwatch's Spaces Marines train specialist Kill Teams to defy the worst perils to redact the destructive threats they uncover.
