Ceylon

Ceylon

During the second half of the 19th century, in Ceylon, a country now known as Sri Lanka, a mushroom decimated all coffee plantations on the island, causing a severe economic crisis. The Scotsman James Taylor, followed later by many other entrepreneurs, replaced coffee crops with tea plantations, giving birth to what many connoisseurs now consider to be the best tea in the world. In Ceylon, you will play the role of the pioneers who developed the Ceylon tea industry. You will have to build plantations, harvest, develop the necessary technology and export different varieties of tea all over the world. The player who contributes the most to the fame of Ceylon tea will win the game.
