7 Wonders, a mythical game

In 7 Wonders, you are at the head of one of the seven great cities of the ancient world. Your goal is to make your city prosper to make it more influential than those of your opponents. The future of legendary cities such as Babylon, Ephesus or Rhodes depends on your managerial skills. To make your city history, you will need to act in different areas of development. Harness the natural resources of your land, participate in scientific progress, develop your trade relations and assert your military supremacy. Make your mark on the history of civilizations by building a monumental marvel.

7 Wonders, a playback through 3 ages

A game takes place through 3 successive ages, each with 6 rounds of play. Each era is played in the same way and is based on a draft system. Each player chooses a card from his hand, plays it and passes the remaining cards to the next player. This game principle allows different decks of cards to rotate between players who have 6 cards to develop their strategy to the best of their ability. In each round, participants have 3 possible actions: build their city, develop their wonder or earn money.

7 Wonders, a strategic game

To reign supreme, players will need to establish a strategy and deal with their cards to run their action plan safely. The game also gives them the opportunity to interact with other players with certain advantages from the cards played. At the end of the 3rd age, players will have to count their victory points. The final score will depend on the buildings built (commercial, civil and scientific), the stage of development of their wonder, military victories and the fortunes earned. 7 Wonders is a strategic game where players must not forget any aspect of the game to triumph. The city must prosper civilly, scientifically, commercially and militarily. In other words, their city will have to be beautiful, rich and powerful. The player with the highest score is declared the winner.

The 7 added values of the new edition of 7 Wonders

- a graphic redesign of the game. Released in 2010 and racking up more than 30 international awards, 7 Wonders deserved to get a makeover! The cover, the design of the maps, the wonders, the thermoforming: everything has passed!

- The drafting of the rules has been completely revised to make them easier to access to beginners. No more long pages to read, we now move on to an 8-page rulebook much easier to grasp and understand!

- The game help has also been completely redesigned.

- Thanks to better card ergonomics, the player gains room at the table. The new layout of the maps makes it easy to read the information. The guild cards, scattered throughout the various 7 Wonders expansions, have been collected and added to the new basic game.

- The size of the wonders has increased allowing a better immersion of the game with the main theme of 7 Wonders, its wonders! The basic game box format and its extensions will also be larger, adopting a standard box size. Always to best respect the immersion in the game, the A and B faces of the wonders have been redesigned and are replaced by a day and a night face. Discover the wonders in their daytime and nocturnal aspect!

- Thanks to the symbols discreetly integrated into the game's content, 7 Wonders and its extensions are now suitable for colorblind players.
