Thesauros

Thesauros, a strategic board game: explore shipwrecks and grow your enterprise

Plunge into the heart of a strategic adventure where optimization and management make the difference. In Thesauros, you map submerged treasures, organize their recovery, then negotiate their sale to the museum to increase both your profits and your reputation. This board game combines methodical exploration and economic decisions, ideal for board game fans looking for a rich and tense experience.

The core of the game revolves around a central game board and a worker-placement mechanic that generates intense indirect interaction. On each turn, your choices shape not only your own path but also your opponents’ opportunities, offering a real duel of anticipation typical of strategic board games.

A modular expert game for different player profiles

Thesauros has the particularity of bringing together at the same table players with varied expectations: those who enjoy a degree of personal luck in an expert game and those who prefer near-total control. Each finds their own pace and style of play without compromising strategic depth. The variant "No Faith, No Law!" introduces marked direct interaction, changing the dynamic and intensifying confrontations for groups that enjoy a more head-on clash.

This title is primarily aimed at seasoned players, notably fans of adult board games and strategic board games. Whether you’re a follower of the best board games or simply a curious player seeking an ambitious challenge at a board game store, Thesauros stands out as a reference to discover in a board game shop.
