Wingspan - Extension Amériques

Wingspan - Americas Expansion for Strategy Board Games

Embark on a journey to discover the Americas and enrich your nature reserve with new fascinating birds. The fourth Wingspan expansion, this content focuses on species from Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, a region of exceptional biodiversity. It features more than 3,000 bird species, including the world’s smallest and largest wingspan records: Elena's hummingbird and the Snowy albatross. Ideal for board game and tabletop game enthusiasts, this expansion adds thematic variety and new tactical opportunities to every game.

A unique ornithological immersion on your game board

Hummingbirds take a starring role in this expansion: they account for about one tenth of the birds in Latin America, and delight with their rapid flights and iridescent feathers. The designer Elizabeth Hargrave, alongside illustrators Natalia Rojas, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo and Martha Clare, pays homage to them through a new card type that subtly refreshes Wingspan's mechanics. You will enjoy new interactions, more nuanced combos, and additional strategic options, while preserving the balance and flow of the base game.

Whether you are a fan of strategy board games or looking for an immersive title to share with family, the Americas expansion broadens your collection by bringing sumptuous aesthetics and rich choices to every turn. It speaks to both players seeking depth and the curious wanting to discover iconic species and the diversity of the ecosystems of the American continent.
