Coàtl : Le Jeu de Cartes

A temple in honor of the gods has just been erected in the heart of the Aztec city.

Inside the walls, paintings of feathered snakes will decorate this place of worship to pay tribute to the gods. To determine who will have the honor of decorating the walls of the temple, you must elect the most prestigious painter of Cóatl of the empire.

In Cóatl the card game, players attempt to paint the most beautiful and precious feathered serpent. The snake, or Cóatl, consists of a Head card, a Tail card and eight Body cards. During their turn, players play 2 cards to create, then claim, the requirements of the available Prophecy cards. If you complete a Prophecy card that another player already has, you steal it from them and place it in front of you. You score more points if you create the same requirement more than once, and you can optionally secure a Prophecy card so that it cannot be stolen by other players.

A game consists of 5 rounds. Players can earn extra victory points if they fulfill the requirements on a Temple card. When the last player finishes his or her Cóatl, the player with the most victory points is declared the winner.

Cóatl the Card Game also offers a single player mode and includes the Golden Feathers expansion that is compatible with Cóatl the Basic Game!
