Arigatō: Become the master of strategic board games
In Arigatō, dive into the world of board games where your goal is to prepare the finest gifts to win the Shogun's favor. Recruit talented artisans to outperform competing villages. A game is played over 12 rounds, each divided into 3 simultaneous phases:
1 - Dawn: Role selection. Secretly choose the role of each of your 5 Artisans (1 resident, 2 travelers, 2 makers) to influence the course of the game.
2 - Day: Village management. Reveal your Artisan cards and activate their abilities according to their role, then manage your village. Use the items obtained to prepare offerings and send your artisans to the Shogun's palace. Each artisan sent will earn you precious favors at the end of the game.
3 - Dusk: End of the round. Check if you met the Shogun's requirements for the day and gain additional favors. Some artisans may grant you extra favors if their conditions are met.
The player who accumulates the most favors wins the game. The variety of effects and the many strategic dilemmas (keep or give, produce or store, send to the Shogun or use powers...) enrich the gaming experience.
