La Bohème

La Bohème - a strategy board game at the heart of historic Paris

Dive into the bustle of Paris at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century with La Bohème, a board game where each player portrays an artist seeking recognition. Between sudden inspiration and everyday reality, you'll roam the capital to create masterpieces while skillfully managing your routine. Ideal for fans of history games, tabletop games and strategy board games, this title offers an immersive experience of bohemian life.

Each turn, plan your day and choose decisive actions that will shape your artistic career. Your decisions guide your progression and determine the acquisition of inspiration, the game's key resource.

• Attend a rendezvous to create opportunities;
• Take part in a social event and make contacts;
• Meet your muse and rekindle your creativity;
• Create a new work of art to make an impression;
• Or… go to work to survive the bohemian life.

Card and inspiration management: an elegant deck‑building

Each card provides bonuses, contextual effects and, above all, sources of inspiration. Mastery of your card pool and the precise order in which you play them are essential to optimize your gains. This deck‑building mechanic emphasizes planning, timing and efficient combos, typical of demanding strategy board games.

Then spend your inspiration to acquire new cards and enrich your deck: productive habits, inspiring muses and new career achievements. The goal is clear: accumulate the most achievements from the achievements deck. At the end, the artist with the most achievements wins, offering a tense and satisfying conclusion to the games.

For adults and families: a must-have in board game shops

La Bohème appeals as much to fans of adult board games as to enthusiasts of family board games. Accessible yet deep, it will charm those who appreciate strategy board games and narrative worlds. Whether you're discovering board games or expanding your collection, this title is an inspired choice.
