Bataillon des Ligues de Votann: Prospection Cthonienne

For millennia, the Cognats of the Leagues of Votann have exploited the material and metaphysical resources of their traditional domains, in the galactic core and further outwards. They are an expansionist, territorial people who never forgive and show no mercy. The needs and lives of other species in the galaxy are negligible compared to the survival of the Cognats.

This jam-packed box is perfect for starting a new Leagues of Votann collection or for bolstering an existing army that you can then unleash in Warhammer 40,000 games, saving you money compared to buying the kits separately. Led by a shrewd Master-Fer Brôkhyr and his escort, the bulk of this force consists of aggressive Chthonic Berserks ready to come to blows with the enemy. They are supported by the heavy weapons of the Brôkhyr Tonnekogs, as well as two powerful Chthonic Earthshakers. A Kapricus Defender provides reactive support and can otherwise be assembled as a Kapricus Carrier to bring your troops where you need them.

This box builds 27 plastic Leagues of Votann miniatures:

– 1x Master-Fer Brôkhyr, plus one Iron Cognat Assistant and 3x E-COG

– 1x Kapricus Defender (which can instead be assembled as a Kapricus Carrier)

– 2x Chthonic Earthshakers, plus 2x breach artillery markers

– 3x Brôkhyr Tonnekogs

– 10x Chthonic Berserks, plus 4x taupe grenade markers

The models in this kit are easy to customize. The Master-Fer Brôkhyr has a multispectral sight, which can be worn over the eyes or flipped up onto the brow.

The Kapricus Defender crew have six heads to choose from, including two Iron Cognat heads, and the vehicle can be armed with a magna-rail cannon or an HYLaser rotary cannon. This model can alternatively be assembled as a Kapricus Carrier, a light transport vehicle.

The Chthonic Earthshakers can be assembled with either Seismic shells or breach artillery. The crew have interchangeable heads and bodies. The different ammunition types correspond to the Earthshakers' assembly options, and you’ll find accessories to decorate the bases.

The Brôkhyr Tonnekogs can be armed with bolt cannons, graviton blast cannons or SP conversion beams. The kit includes seven different heads, as well as four different interchangeable omni-sight models.

The Chthonic Berserks can be equipped with heavy plasma axes or percussion mauls. You’ll also find two pairs of twin percussion gauntlets and the parts needed to assemble two Chthonic Berserks armed with a taupe grenade launcher, accompanied by L-COG magazines. Four taupe grenade tokens are also provided to help keep track of the effects of these burrowing explosives.

This kit is supplied with 2x Leagues of Votann decal sheets, each offering 555 high-quality decals to decorate your miniatures. This includes symbols for the Major Thurian League, the Trans-Hyperian Alliance, the Legislatures of Urani-Surtr, the Conglomerate of Ymyr and the Hegemony of Kronus, as well as a selection of numbers and other markings.

This kit is made up of 507 plastic components, 1x Citadel Oval Base 105mm x 70mm, 1x Citadel Round Base 32mm, 2x Citadel Round Bases 80mm, 2x Citadel Round Bases 50mm, 3x Citadel Round Bases 40mm, 11x Citadel Round Bases 28.5mm and 11x Citadel Round Bases 25mm. These models are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paint.
