Miao Ying, the Storm Dragon

Miao Ying, Storm Dragon - Warhammer The Old World Miniature for Tabletop Wargames

Relentless commander of the Grand Bastion, Miao Ying rules the north of Cathay from the city of Nan‑Gau, the heart of her authority. Coldly methodical even by draconic standards, she has guarded the northern border for centuries, a duty entrusted to her by the Celestial Dragon himself. Feared and respected, the Storm Dragon is often regarded by her kin as the Celestial Dragon's favorite, a reputation she bears with calculated reserve during their rare councils. Ideal for fans of miniatures, wargaming and roleplaying figure collecting, this piece perfectly embodies the aesthetic of Warhammer: The Old World.

Dual-form plastic kit for tabletop wargames

This plastic kit lets you assemble Miao Ying in two iconic aspects for your Grand Cathay armies in Warhammer: The Old World. In human form she hovers above the battlefield, channeling devastating spells while commanding her troops with legendary discipline. In her draconic form she soars majestically, ready to strike the enemy with claws and fangs. Whichever configuration you choose, you get a formidable general and a powerful sorceress, perfect as a centerpiece for gaming, display, or roleplaying and wargame collections.

Box contents and hobby tips (Citadel, Vallejo, Army Painter paints)

• 80 plastic components to assemble Miao Ying in human or draconic form.
• 1x Citadel 50 mm square base.
• 1x Citadel 100 x 150 mm rectangular base.

For optimal assembly we recommend Citadel Plastic Glue. Painting is made easier with the Citadel Colour range, but Vallejo, The Army Painter or Green Stuff World paints also work well, using a suitable Citadel brush. Add tufts and Gamers Grass flocking to enhance your wargame bases. Although this miniature is designed for Warhammer: The Old World, painting techniques popularized by Warhammer Age of Sigmar remain fully relevant.
