Zardu Layak and Blade Slaves

Zardu Layak: The Crimson Apostle of the Word Bearers

Once a fervent adherent of the Imperial Truth, Zardu Layak's original identity has been obscured by time. His past as a destroyer of temples and holy texts was overshadowed by the disgrace suffered by the XVII Legion at Monarchia, driving him into madness. He embraced the Primordial Truth, gaining immense power and forbidden knowledge. Now known as the 'Eater of Wisdom', this sinister figure, the Crimson Apostle of the Word Bearers, is accompanied by his Blade Slaves. These formidable bodyguards are Astartes twisted by daemonic might, their insatiable thirst for carnage evident as they carve through adversaries.

Intricate Craftsmanship and Daemonic Power

This detailed resin kit allows you to construct Zardu Layak and his two Blade Slaves. Zardu Layak, a fearsome warrior-priest, dons intricately crafted artificer armor adorned with pages, scrolls, and tomes of dark lore. His allegiance to ruin is declared through his horned, six-eyed daemonic war-mask and the infernal brazier affixed to his chest. Armed with the Azurda Char'is, a corrupted force staff inscribed with mystical runes, he is a formidable presence on the battlefield.

The Blade Slaves, towering figures clad in armor embellished with XVII Legion insignias and Colchisian sigils, bear the marks of their daemonic transformation. Their armor, barely containing the chaotic energies and mutating flesh within, is armed with warpfire pistols and Anakatis blades, weapons of occult and pseudo-organic origin. This set comprises 15 resin components, housed in a black Horus Heresy Character Series box, and includes 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base and 2x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures arrive unpainted and require assembly. For the best results, we recommend using Citadel Colour paints to bring your figures to life.
