Apothecary

Essential Role of the Primaris Apothecary in Warhammer 40k

Among the most esteemed figures in the ranks of Space Marines are the Apothecaries. Tasked with safeguarding the physical health of their fellow battle-brothers, they are a crucial presence on the battlefield, acting as emergency medics. However, their most critical responsibility lies with the deceased; the Apothecaries are entrusted with the retrieval of progenoid organs from fallen Space Marines, ensuring the ongoing legacy and strength of their Chapter. This multi-part plastic kit provides everything needed to assemble a highly detailed Primaris Apothecary, clad in Mk X power armor and equipped with more tools and gadgets than a typical Primaris Space Marine, reflecting his vital role.

Detailed Features of the Primaris Apothecary Kit

The miniature is adorned with several canopic jars, each bearing purity seals and filled with progenoid organs approved for future Primaris Space Marines. In his right hand, the Apothecary holds a freshly-harvested organ, his gaze fixed upon it, while another jar is ready at his side. His left arm wields a narthecium, the signature tool of his trade, though it can be swapped for an optional absolver pistol—often the last sight for a fallen brother. The kit offers a variety of intricate accessories, including lamps, surgical lenses, a chainsaw, injector servo arm, drill, and stapler for enhanced customization. As a narrative element, a slain Space Marine with a large incision made by the narthecium can be added to the base. The Primaris Apothecary consists of 28 components and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round base, along with an Ultramarines-Character Transfer Sheet featuring iconography for Captain, Chaplain, Librarian, and Lieutenant.
