WHY READ THIS BOOK
Dan Abnett takes over The Heresy of Horus! Experience one of the crucial stages of the Siege, where Rogal Dorn and Perturabo clash in a game of regicide whose theatre is the World-throne lui-même, and where the slightest mistake results in an unspeakable devastation...
The STORY
The renegade ost of Horus Lupercal tightens its iron embrace around the Terra Palace, whose walls and bastions fall one by one. Rogal Dorn, Terra's pretorien, redoubles his efforts to retain the relentless besieging army, but his forces are far inferior in number and hopelessly outnumbered in firepower. Dorn can't defend everything. The slightest chance of survival comes through sacrifices, but what battles will he dare to concede in an attempt to win others? Can we imagine a tactical coup, a crucial battle, the outcome of which was to turn the tide of the war?
