Combat Patrol: Grey Knights

The omens warn of the corruption of the Warp spreading into real space here. Perhaps the manifestations are the result of the enemy's efforts, or perhaps the enemy is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever the case, Castellan Crowe rushes into battle at the head of his brothers, knowing that the taint must be purified without delay and that reinforcements are being sent to his position.

Castellan Crowe leads this force, armed with the Black Sword of Antwyr. He is accompanied by an Incursion Squad equipped with a variety of weapons, and a Brotherhood Terminator Squad capable of cutting through the toughest opponents. A Venerable Dreadnought provides long-distance support with its considerable firepower. These 17 plastic miniatures form a complete force of Crowe's Sanctifiers for use in Warhammer 40,000's tight, tactical Patrol format. The rules for this Patrol are available as a free download from the Warhammer Community website.

This set assembles 17 Grey Knights plastic miniatures:

- 1x Castellan Crowe

- 10x Incursion Squad figures (can otherwise be assembled as Interceptor, Purificator or Purgator Squad figures)

- 5x Brotherhood Terminators (can otherwise be assembled as a Paladin Squad)

- 1x Venerable Dreadnought

The figurines in this box are easy to customize. The Castellan Crowe has a choice of two heads - one with helmet and one without. The Venerable Dreadnought can be armed with your choice of assault cannon, twin laser cannon or heavy plasma cannon. It also has a number of aesthetic options, including different choices of sarcophagus and armor plates for its legs, and more.

The Incursion Squad includes the elements needed to assemble an optional Justicar, and to equip the squad with incinerators, expurgators or psycanons. Arms, heads, back packs, shoulder pads and bodies are all interchangeable between figures. There's also a choice of formidable Nemesis force weapons - halberds, swords, glaives or hammers - and aesthetic accessories including relics and grenades. These miniatures can otherwise be assembled as a teleported Interceptor Squad, as an elite Purificator Squad, or as a heavy-weapons Purgator Squad.

The Brotherhood Terminator Squad includes the elements needed to assemble a Justicar, a Banner-bearing Dean and an optional Apothecary, and to equip the squad with an Incinerator, an Expurgator or a Psycanon. Arms, heads, back packs, shoulder pads and bodies are all interchangeable between figures. There's a choice of fearsome Nemesis force weapons - halberds, swords, glaives, a hammer or a scepter - and aesthetic accessories including relics and grenades. These miniatures can otherwise be assembled as a Paladin Squad, an even more elite group of warriors.

This kit comprises 491 plastic parts, 1x Citadel Dreadnought Base, 6x Citadel 40mm Round Base and 10x Citadel 32mm Round Base.
