Automate-stratos Vultarax

The Vultarax automata integrate a complex cortical unit, allowing them to control the various reactors and gravitic turbines that keep them aloft, and granting them greater capacity to act independently. Although the Magos of the Mechanicum employ the Vultarax as an advanced unit used to engage and harass the enemy, those they delegate to the Skitarii Conclaves mainly occupy the role of scouts. To fulfill this secondary function, the Mechanicum authorizes that some stratos automata be retrofitted with additional auspex arrays.

This plastic kit allows you to assemble a Vultarax Stratos Automaton, a floating weapon platform for your Mechanicum and Skitarii Conclave armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with an electro-ejector, a Vultarax missile launcher, and dendrite claws, this fast unit presents a threat at range as well as in close combat. The full variety of different models and arrangements of the dendrite claws gives you some latitude to customize it.

This miniature bears no markings specific to its allegiance, and you can therefore use it in any Mechanicum force, whether you view the Emperor as the true Omnissiah or as a false prophet.

This kit comes with 1x Mechanicum Construction Decal Sheet containing 558 high-quality decals. This includes symbols for the Opus Machina, the Opus Taghmata, the Lungum Cybernetica, the Cybernetica Cenacle, and the Fracta Aedificium, as well as lines, markings, and gears to decorate your miniatures.

This kit is composed of 92 plastic elements, 1x Citadel 100mm Round Base, and 1x 115mm Ball-Jointed Flight Stand. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
