Glasspack Footprints compatible with 40k® 11th Edition

The Glasspack Footprints from Green Stuff World are 1 mm-thick transparent bases for scenery and terrain features, designed to clearly mark the ground footprint of buildings, ruins, walls, barricades, generators and other important terrain areas in Warhammer 40,000® 11th Edition-compatible games. Now that the new 2026 edition moves away somewhat from the classic round objective markers and places much more emphasis on terrain footprints, it becomes more important than ever to clearly delineate battlefield zones to control objectives, clarify missions and avoid discussions about line of sight.

They are made from a completely transparent, soft and impact-resistant plastic, which allows you to precisely define the playable area of each scenery element without obscuring the design of your gaming mat. Unlike MDF, neoprene or other opaque materials, they preserve the aesthetics of the table while avoiding raised edges that can hinder the placement or movement of miniatures. Thanks to their low profile, they are particularly suitable for competitive play, games among friends, clubs and tournaments, where consistency, quick setup and ease of transport are especially appreciated.

Each Glasspack 40k features white-edged borders, so you can immediately see during the game where each terrain zone begins and ends. This greatly helps reduce ambiguities when you need to check whether a unit is in a ruin, benefits from cover, contests a zone or interacts with mission-related elements. In 11th edition, it is even more relevant, as terrain and the mission structure are now more closely linked, each army can have different primary objectives, and the recommended table layouts are designed around precise dimensions for play areas and playing surfaces.

These transparent footprints work particularly well on dark or gray gaming mats, especially in urban or volcanic scenery, where the white outline remains clearly visible without breaking the visual look of the table. They are less recommended for very light tables with a snow theme. Light, flexible and easy to transport in a game box or army case, they are an ideal solution for any player wanting to set up their scenery more cleanly, more practically and more professionally, while staying as close as possible to the standard deployment and terrain sizes of the new edition.
