War Drakes of Rhûn™

War Drakes of Rhûn - Resin miniatures for Middle‑earth Strategy Battle Game | jeux de figurines & wargaming

Elusive even across the far East of Middle‑earth, the War Drakes of Rhûn are territorial reptilian predators revered by the Dragon Cult and feared by their enemies. With bone‑crushing jaws and venom that saps strength, these beasts often accompany Easterling hosts to war, striking hard before disciplined phalanxes move in to finish the job. Add two of these savage creatures to your The Easterlings or Host of the Dragon Emperor forces to elevate your wargame jeu de plateau with a pair of formidable, characterful threats.

Features, contents, and battlefield role

This multipart resin kit builds two War Drakes—ideal centerpieces for players of the Middle‑earth Strategy Battle Game who enjoy strategic monster play within their jeux de figurines collection. Armored in thick scales, each Drake can square up to heavily protected targets, tying down key units and softening them with toxic saliva so your ranks can capitalize. Whether you favor flanking assaults or frontline pressure, these creatures add flexible control to Easterling tactics.

• Includes 18 resin components to assemble 2 War Drakes
• Supplied with 2x Citadel 40mm Round Bases
• Rules for using War Drakes of Rhûn are found in the Armies of Middle‑earth publication (sold separately)

Assembly, painting, and hobby essentials

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. For the best results, we recommend Citadel Colour—peinture Citadel—alongside pinceau Citadel and complementary ranges such as peinture Vallejo, The Army Painter (peinture Army Painter), and Green Stuff World for basing and conversions. Enhance your display with Gamers Grass tufts and texture paints to evoke the dusty plains of the East. Whether you paint Warhammer miniatures for display or as figurine de jeux de rôle pieces, these kits reward careful layering, glazing, and edge highlights across their rugged scales—perfect practice for any peinture figurine Warhammer enthusiast.

This is a resin modelling kit intended for collectors and experienced hobbyists aged 15+. It is not a toy. As with all wargames and wargaming projects, dry‑fit components before gluing, and prime thoroughly before painting. Fans of wargames and figurine jeux de rôle who enjoy the broader Warhammer hobby—Age of Sigmar or beyond—will appreciate how these Drakes expand both painting skills and tactical options within Middle‑earth.
