In this iconic tabletop wargame, these mummified warriors cut through flesh and bone until their enemies collapse at their feet. This plastic kit allows you to assemble two Royal Heralds—one on foot and the other mounted on an armour-clad skeletal steed—to bolster your Tomb Kings armies in Warhammer: The Old World (Warhammer Old World). Ideal for wargaming and tabletop roleplaying, these macabre miniatures excel in the thick of battle and also make inspiring RPG figures.

Each miniature can be built as either a Royal Herald, a Prince of the Tombs or a King of the Tombs, allowing you to adapt your force to your playstyle. Versatile and fearsome, they are perfect to lead your troops and add an imposing presence on the table.

Kit contents and assembly options

Personalise your miniatures with many interchangeable parts:

• 2x Herald heads
• 2x Prince/King of the Tombs heads
• 1x Right-hand khopesh (can be swapped for an open hand)
• 1x Right-hand khopesh
• 1x Left-hand axe
• 1x Left-hand shield
• 1x Left-hand banner
• 2x Chest plates

Both miniatures can be assembled with or without a cloak to vary their silhouettes. The kit consists of 47 plastic components, supplied with 1x Citadel 25 mm square base and 1x Citadel 30 x 60 mm rectangular base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly — we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

Painting and hobby - enhance your Tomb Kings

Whether you favour wargames or roleplaying miniatures, these Royal Heralds offer a superb canvas for Warhammer painting. Citadel Colour paints (bases, shades and highlights) make it easy to achieve weathered bone, antique metals and worn caparisons. To vary finishes, combine Citadel paints with Vallejo or Army Painter paints, add Green Stuff World pigments and Gamers Grass tufts to your bases for a convincing desert effect. A Citadel brush suitable for fine detail will help pick out scarabs, gems and hieroglyphs. If you come from Warhammer Age of Sigmar miniatures, your techniques apply here perfectly.
