Section 13 is a captivating campaign by Christophe Biernaux for the role-playing game Cthulhu Hack. Players take on the role of British secret agents from the 1920s, belonging to the mysterious Section 13 of Military Intelligence, also known as MI-13, dedicated to supernatural phenomena and the Cthulhu Mythos.

Thrilling adventures and supernatural mysteries

Through six immersive scenarios, participants must thwart the plans of an evil sorcerer seeking to awaken the fearsome Cthulhu. This adventure, blending investigation, horror and adventure, takes players from London to Cairo, via Arkham, a city emblematic of the Cthulhu Mythos.

The campaign consists of six distinct scenarios:

• The Premises: This introductory scenario, set in London, sees the agents discover two pyramids with occult powers. Their investigation leads them to Lord Gloucesterhill, a sorcerer who escapes to Egypt with an artifact.
• Terror in the Mediterranean: A huis-clos on a ship where arms dealers and a thousand-year-old marine entity make the voyage perilous.
• The Desert Mystery: Set in Cairo, the agents confront a local sect, the Black Sun, and come face to face with Gloucesterhill in the desert.
• The Secrets of Barrowmoor: In an English village, the agents investigate gruesome murders linked to Gloucesterhill's experiments.
• Welcome to New England: The agents pursue Gloucesterhill to Arkham, where Professor Armitage assists them in their search.
• Beyond the Portal: The conclusion in Salem Village, where the agents confront Gloucesterhill and his allies to prevent the awakening of Cthulhu.

Section 13 also lets players manage their headquarters, an English manor house that can be upgraded through character successes, which offer credits to develop new rooms or improve equipment.
