Epic Battles in the Age of Darkness with Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis

Step into the tumultuous era of the Horus Heresy where Horus Lupercal, once the Emperor's trusted Warmaster, has betrayed his gene-father, plunging the Imperium into a brutal civil war. In this wargame, half of the Space Marine Legions, alongside the Solar Auxilia, Knight Households, and Titan Legions, have joined the traitorous cause. Witness brother fighting brother as the galaxy is engulfed in a cataclysm of fire and blood. This boxed set offers everything you need to reenact these epic battles on the tabletop.

Comprehensive Warhammer 40k Box Set with Epic Scale Miniatures

Unlike standard Warhammer games, Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis features epic scale miniatures, approximately a quarter of the size of typical Citadel figures. This allows for grander armies, from frontline infantry to colossal Titans. Within this box, you'll find 223 detailed epic scale plastic miniatures, representing two complete armies—Space Marines and Solar Auxilia. These figures can be painted and played as either Loyalists or Traitors, offering a versatile gaming experience.

The set includes a comprehensive 240-page hardback rulebook filled with core rules, faction details, lore, and galleries of stunning miniatures. Additionally, it comes with all the necessary dice, tokens, and accessories to start your wargaming adventures immediately. The box contains:

• 240-page hardback Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis Rulebook
• 61 tokens
• 2 quick reference sheets
• 21 dice
• 3 templates
• 2 measuring sticks
• 1 transfer sheet with 556 decals
• 223 epic scale plastic Citadel miniatures, forming 61 models

Among these models are 27 Legiones Astartes, 32 Solar Auxilia, and 2 Warhound Titans. The miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, with Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints recommended for assembly and painting. Additionally, models from the Aeronautica Imperialis range can be integrated into your games, provided they are mounted on Legions Imperialis Round Flying Bases, available separately. Note that some elements are sold separately, and base designs may vary from those shown.
