Description

7 Duel Wonders, the adaptation 2 players

In many ways, 7 Wonders Duel resembles his big brother 7 Wonders. Players acquire maps over three ages, providing resources or advancing their military or scientific development to develop their civilization or build wonders.

7 Wonders Duel, a game that has its own personality

What is different with 7 Wonders Duel is that, as the title suggests, the game is only for two players. The latter do not simultaneously draw cards from card hands, but from a mixture of face-down and face-to-face cards arranged in pyramidal formation at the beginning of each age. A player can only take a card if it is not covered by others. The timing and choices you're going to make are crucial. As in the original game, every card you acquire can be built, discarded for coins or used to build a wonder.

Each player starts with four wonder cards, and building a wonder gives its owner a special ability. However, only seven wonders can be built, so a player will be unable to build his four.
Players can purchase resources at any time, or they can acquire cards during the game that will provide them with resources for future construction. When you acquire resources, the cost of these resources increases for your opponent, representing your dominance in this area.

7 Duel Wonders, one game but 3 ways to win

A player can win a game of 7 Wonders Duel in one of three ways:

  • Each time you acquire a military card, you advance the military marker to your opponent's capital, giving you a bonus at certain positions; If you reach the capital of the opponent, you win the game immediately by military domination.
  • Similarly, if you acquire six of the seven different scientific symbols, you get scientific dominance and win immediately.
  • If none of these situations occur, then the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
